Angel Manor Estate is a cultural mecca created in 2007 to showcase the highest quality of the arts of Second Life, in music, art and content creation. Since then, we have been driven by the power this virtual world has to offer by allowing all residents of Second Life a place to escape to and rest their soul in our world of creativity and grand splendour. Themed as a modern day aristocratic palace, we create an environment that allows our visitors, residents and staff to experience a standard of life and culture that encourages, inspires and motivates us to live our best lives in both worlds.
After nearly two decades of memories, music, and extraordinary virtual artistry, the time has come to close the gates of Angel Manor Estate. What began in 2007 as a vision to build a world of creativity and grand splendour grew into a vibrant cultural mecca across Second Life.
When we first stepped into this virtual world back in 2007, our goal was simple yet ambitious: to build a sanctuary where art, architectural design, and live performance could flourish. Kaya brought his background in theatrical lighting and set creation into this space, building a realistic environment that felt truly authentic and alive, and together we grew our estate into an expansive multi-sim domain featuring modern day aristocratic architecture, magnificent ballrooms, secluded gardens, a strong community and the iconic Rose Theatre.
Over the years, our adventures took us through countless galas, grand balls, classical music recitals, live vocal performances, art exhibitions, and breathtaking collaborations with people across the world. We have hosted magical weddings and community celebrations and our passion was offering visitors a serene escape from real world pressures. Through your support, Angel Manor Estate became a home for dreamers and creators from every part of the globe and we will be eternally grateful that you put your trust in us.
To every musician who poured their heart into a live set, every performer who brought the Rose Theatre stage to life, and every visual artist who graced our galleries, thank you. Working alongside such boundless talent over all these years has altered our lives forever. You shared your gifts, your vulnerability, and your passion with our community, turning digital stages into profound emotional experiences. You showed us how powerful virtual connection can be, and watching you light up our estate day after day brought us more joy and inspiration than words could ever convey. It truly has been the honour of our lives to work alongside you.
Making the choice to bring this chapter to a close has been an exceptionally difficult decision for both of us, and we are truly heartbroken to say goodbye to a place that has meant the world to us for so long.
Until we meet again, we ask that you please stay safe, take wonderful care of yourselves, and continue to look out for one another with the same kindness you have always shown us. Keep creating, keep sharing your extraordinary passion, and hold tight to the magic we were all so fortunate to build together.
